What FormZend is—and isn’t
The basics of the email designer before you dig into setup or plans.
Is FormZend a form builder?
No. FormZend designs the emails sent by supported form plugins and WordPress. You continue to build forms and notification rules in your existing form plugin.
Does FormZend send email?
FormZend renders the template and passes the email through the normal form-provider or WordPress mail process. It is not an SMTP or transactional email delivery service.
Can I send a test email?
Yes. Supported sources provide a test-send workflow in the template editor. Your WordPress site’s mail setup must be working.
Will FormZend improve email deliverability?
FormZend improves email design and templating, not delivery infrastructure. Deliverability depends on your site’s mail provider, DNS, reputation, and content.
Do I need a separate email builder?
No. You design templates in the native WordPress block editor with a focused set of email-ready blocks—no third-party canvas to learn.

Which form plugins are supported?
Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, WPForms, and Fluent Forms are implemented. FormZend also supports common WordPress system email types such as password reset and new-user notifications.
Do I need to rebuild my forms?
No. FormZend does not replace your form builder. You keep building forms and notification rules where you already do—FormZend only designs the email output.
Is the setup different for each plugin?
The controls live inside each provider’s own notification settings, but the flow is the same: enable FormZend, choose a published template, preview, and test.
Can I use one template across multiple plugins?
Yes. Publish a FormZend template once, then assign it to notifications across any supported provider. Merge tags stay provider-aware for each connection.
Does FormZend support WordPress system emails?
Yes. Brand password resets, new-user welcomes, password-changed alerts, email-changed notices, and admin email confirmations from the same template system.

Which plan should I choose?
Starter is for a single site. Professional is the usual pick for freelancers and small agencies (up to 25 sites). Agency covers larger portfolios up to 100 sites, with priority support.
What is included free?
The free download includes the full FormZend designer for WordPress core emails, including password resets and new-user notifications. Paid plans unlock third-party form integrations.
What if my license expires?
FormZend keeps operating and existing templates continue to render. Plugin software updates pause until the license is active again.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Start on Starter for one site, then move to Professional or Agency when you need more sites. Contact support if you need help switching.
Which features require a paid plan?
Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, WPForms, and Fluent Forms integrations require a paid license. Every paid plan includes all supported third-party integrations; plans differ by site count.

How do I connect a template?
Create and publish a FormZend email, then open the notification settings in your form plugin (or system email settings). Enable FormZend, choose the template, preview, and test.
Can I preview with real data?
Yes. Insert provider-aware merge tags and preview them with representative values or permitted recent entry data before anything goes live.
Do I need special hosting or SMTP?
No special hosting is required. FormZend uses your site’s normal WordPress mail process, so a working mail setup (and preferably a proper SMTP plugin) is recommended for reliable delivery.
